Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) approved a new federal rule that will ensure that products marketed or intended for infant sleep will provide a safe sleep environment for babies under 5 months old and beginning in mid-2022, any product intended or marketed for infant sleep must meet a federal safety standard. Ideally, this arrangement will last up to 1 year. Firstly, deciding to room share with your baby means that you are already making an awesome safety choice! Open by pressing the top of the lid, drop in diaper, close lid, press button to drop diaper in can. So far haven't had any smell though our baby's diapers haven't really had any strong odors yet. We've had it for only a little over a week so our opinion may change but will update here. I was hesitant due to some of the rev iews but it's been a great investment so far.
